2017/2018 bilateral education agreement (BEA) scholarship awards for undergraduates and postgraduates in Nigeria who wish to study abroad is now available.


The scholarship is sponsored by the federal government of Nigeria, through the ministry of education, through the federal scholarship board. Not all have bilateral agreement with Nigeria under this scholarship award. The countries with bilateral agreement are Russia, China, Morocco, Turkey, Algeria, Romania, Serbia, Japan, Ukraine, Cuba, Greece, Czech Republic, Syria, Macedonia, Mexico, Egypt, Tunisia. COURSES AVAILABLE ARE: 1 ENGINEERING 2 GEOLOGY 3 AGRICULTURE 4 SCIENCES 5 MATHEMATICS 6 LANGUAGES 7 ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES 8 SPORTS 9 SOCIAL SCIENCES 10 BIOTECHNOLOGY 11 ARCHITECTURE 12 MACHINE (VERY LIMITED) 13 POSTGRADUATE LEVEL (MASTERS DEGREE AND PH. D) All applicants for undergraduates degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of five distinctions (As $Bs) in their senior secondary school certificate WAEC MAY/JUNE only the subjects relevant to their field of study including English language and mathematics. Certificate should not be more than two years old (2015&2016). Age limit is from 18 to 20 years. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP : all applicants must hold a first degree with at least 2nd class upper division. The applicants who are previous recipient of foreign awards must have completed N. Y. S. C. age limit is 35 years for masters and 40 years for ph.D. Since BEA countries are non English speaking, all applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one year foreign language of the country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction and all applicants Hungarian scholarship must visit www.stipendumhungaricum.hu.
