Violence: Pregnant Nigerian Woman Beaten By Her Husband Dies After Giving Birth, Baby Dies Also

A young Nigerian woman, Chinyere Sylvia was allegedly beaten by her husband, she was rushed to the hospital where she died after giving birth. The baby also died. Chinyere was laid to rest yesterday at Ikoyi Cemetery. Below is the post by her aunt..."Today my lovely niece was laid to rest at the ikoyi cemetery amidst tears and sorrow (among her own family)for those castigating DPA listen,if i had known barrister emeka we wouldnt have fought blindly like we did and ifshe had spoken out,chi would be here today ,she died after receiving some slaps here n there heavily pregnant and by the time she was rushed to thehospital,she delivered a lovely baby girl who also died a few hours later my sylvia gave up she was tired of fighting.
