Exclusive Update: Lagos Police Confirms Case Of 14 Year Old Girl Allegedly Raped To Death By Hoodlums

The Lagos state police command has confirmed the case of 14-year-old student, Obiamaka who was allegedly raped to deathby some hoodlums at her home in Lagos on July 10th. Obiamaka was allegedly raped to death by some hoodlums who she had previously turned down their love advances.LIB reached out to the Lagos state police command Public Relations officer, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, today and according to him, the police is currently investigating the matter as a murder case and would know if indeed she was raped after an autopsy is carried out on her remains soon."The incident happened around TradeFair. A group of unknown persons attacked the girl's parents house, killing her.She was injured on the head and she was 15 years old. Investigations have commenced to apprehend the suspects while the corpse has been taken to the general hospital for autopsy and other medical reports.

The DPO in the area says the building was isolated and there was low-security measures in the area. The case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti for further discrete investigation"he said
